Faaborg MiniTown shall portray Faaborg city as it looked around 1890. The buildings are sought to be built as typical of the time as possible, according to the available information regarding the specific building and its use.
Information regarding the specific houses is found at the museum and City History Archive, where often photos and architectural drawings available. These are then supplemented with measurements on the actual buildings, if they're still standing in their original form and place. Based on the collected information we develop dimensionally correct plans and drawings, from which the buildings are erect in the workshop.
